Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can chili with or without beans (I usually use with beans)
  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 - 4 oz. can diced green chiles
  • 1 - 4 oz. can sliced black olives, drained
  • 3 - 4 sliced scallions (green onions)
  • 1 small jar salsa, whatever heat level you prefer (I use medium, and it's best with salsas that are not sweet)

Directions
  1. Brown ground beef in saucepan; drain.
  2. Mix in remaining ingredients and heat through in saucepan or transfer to crockpot and keep warm on low setting.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips, or pour over hot dogs in buns.

Love this one, thanks so much - will definitely be making it!

I found a similar recipe a few years ago and they suggested serving it in a brand new dog food dish because it sort of looks like dog food. It would be a fun dish to serve around April Fools day.

I made this for the 2nd time yesterday, for a family party. Everybody loved it, and I gave the recipe out to a couple of people. SO good, and so easy - my favorite combination!

How could I pass up a post with this name?! That would definitely be a fun one to serve at a party in the dog bowl, as suggested by toleliz - that would raise a lot of eyebrows! Fun post...thanks, fizzle.
