Ingredients

How to make it

  • Sauce:
  • Dissolve cornstarch into the milk and add all the ingredients. Blend the liquid mix on a food processor.
  • Put it into a pan over low heat and add the bay leaves . Stir it until it starts to boil. It's ready - reserve.
  • Sandwich:
  • Assemble the sandwich and save 2 slices of cheese.
  • Put the sandwich on a plate and place the 2 slices of cheese on top.
  • Pour the sauce over the sandwich (should be hot, so the cheese melts).

Hey, this recipe is from my city :D
The type of cheese we use is FLAMENCO CHEESE :D it is very blend so it doesn't cover the meaty flavours.
About the sauce, i don't really use milk, just water but I guess that epends :P
But you shouldn't JUST BOIL the sauce, you should keep it on low heat for at least 90 minutes so the acidity in the tomato is gone, but, if you really are in a rush, you can just boil it if you add a tbsp of sugar :)
    Bom apetite carago!

I really like this sandwich. The flavors jump out at you. What cheese do you like to use? I would like Gorgonzola. With the meat combination it would not take away from the natural flavors. The sauce is wonderful. Chicken broth, tomato and wine. Always a winning combination. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I have saved and filed it.
