Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix the cilantro with the cooked rice (Remember a little goes a long way)
  • Get the cassorle dish and line the bottom with the rice
  • If using meat, blend with onion and taco seasoning
  • If not using meat, saute onions and blend with taco seasoning
  • Put the layer of meat/onions or onions on top of rice
  • Top that with a layer of all of the beans
  • Place a layer of the canned tomatoes on top of the bean layer
  • Place layer of tomatillos on top of the canned tomato layer
  • Place a layer of olives on the top of the tomatillos
  • Plour the jar of salsa on top of this all
  • Cover everything with the shredded cheese
  • Cook for about 30 minutes or until you can smell it.
  • If taking in a crockpot : make the dish the night before, refrigerate overnight , and start the dish on High about three hours before meal time then switch to Low about twenty minutes before eating.
  • Serve with tortillas or with chips.
