  • One-Pan Whiskey-Flavored Pork Chops TAKES ONE HOUR
  • main dish, meats
  • 2/3 cup fat-free sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 6 ounce bone-in center-cut pork chops, trim
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 8 ounce package presliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup whiskey

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 300.
  2. Combine the sour cream, water, flour, salt,pepper and
  3. sage in a small bowl.
  4. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat oil
  6. over medium high heat.
  7. Add pork and saute 5 mins on a side or until golden.
  8. Remove pork from pain. Add onions and mushrooms and saute for 3 mins.
  9. Addwhiskey, cook 1 min, or until most of liquid evaporates.
  10. Stir in sour cream mixture into pan.
  11. Return pork to pan and spoon sauce over the pork.
  12. Wrap the frying pan handle with foil.
  13. Cover frying pan and put in oven for 1 hr at 300
  14. degrees.
  15. I use boneless center loin pork chops.
  16. 310 calories

I am a fan of the sauce. This is definitely a stick to the bones kind of a meal.

I seem to be on a porkchop kick, as there are so many good recipes posted. My husband doesn't like chicken (go figure) so this makes a nice alternative.
