Fantastic Peanut Butter Combinations

Since our oldest has a milk protein allergy, he's also allergic to peanut butter... who'dathunk that milk proteins and peanut proteins are the same... any how. I could never use this handy list of things to do with peanut butter. Read more .. Now that's he's almost out of the house, I can pull this out for the littler ones. See less
Ingredients
- peanut butter and....... shopping list
How to make it
- Bacon on pumpernickel
- deviled ham on melba toast
- chutney and cream cheese on whole wheat
- tomatoes and scallions in pita bread
- apples - core apples, stuff with peanut butter
- marshmallow cream grilled on white bread (AWESOME!!!! although my bread of choice is whole grain)
- orange marmalade on toast
- raisins on graham crackers
- applesauce - swirled together
- honey - use as ice cream topping too
- lettuce on rye
- butter - melt and pour over popcorn
- cottage cheese - serve in melon halves
- salami and onion on hero rolls
- chopped dates or apricots on sweet meal crackers
- Chili - add to your favorite chili recipe
- banana bread - use peanut butter instead of shortening in the recipe
- tomato soup - heat one can of tomato soup, 1 c milk, 1 c peanut butter and a dash of hot pepper sauce
- Yogurt dip - 1 c yogurt, 5 Tbs peanut butter, 4 Tsp lemon juice, 1 crushed garlic
- bananas - slice lengthwise, spread with peanut butter
- celery with raisins and coconut sprinkled on top (otherwise known as ants on a log in the snow)
- carmel sauce - combine and use as a dip for apples or pears
