My husband loves these type of dishes and he loves chicken, will need to make this the next time I make chicken,

Jlv: You have to saute most of the ingredients anyway and you have to make the sauce separately so this recipe seems to not work well in a crock pot. However, you can do the chicken in the crockpot with vegetables and use it for your stock.

Chicken A La King....ahhh yesss. I am trippin' down memory lane with this one. And this is the real deal. Completely homemade and luscious and flavorful. I haven't had this dish in a trillion years and am going to pay it a visit very soon. Sas, I bow before you in humble admiration, m'dear. You always make me sooo hungry. Thank you! :) Vickie
