Oatmeal Creme Pies

- 1 C. margarine shopping list
- ¾ C. dark brown sugar shopping list
- ½ C. sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. molasses shopping list
- 1 Tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 ½ C. flour shopping list
- ½ Tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 Tsp. baking soda shopping list
- ½ Tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1 ½ C. oats shopping list
- 2 Tsp. boiling water shopping list
- ¼ Tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 7oz. Jar marshmallow cream shopping list
- ½ C. shortening shopping list
- ½ C. powdered sugar shopping list
- ½ Tsp. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Cream Margarnie, sugars, molasses, vanilla and eggs on medium speed for 3 minutes.
- In a seperate bowl combine flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and oats.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture on low speed.
- Drop by tablespoonfulls onto an ungreased cookie sheet 2-3" apart. (Batter will spread)
- Bake at 350 degrees 10-12 minutes, it is important that you do not overbake so they will remain soft.
- Allow to cool 3-5 minutes on pan and then transfer to a cooling rack.
- To make the filling combine boiling water and salt in a small cup and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix on low speed.
- Pour in salt water and mix once more to combine.
- Spread filling on the bottom of one cooled cookie and top with another to form a sandwich.
- Repeat with all cooled cookies.

Hi! Definitely a "5" from me....they sound absolutely delicious. Plus, they're my husband's favorite Little Debbie snack, so I'm sure he'll love them too. YUM!
