How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Arrange chicken in a single layer baking dish.
  • Pour vinegar over chicken and sprinkle with oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
  • Place garlic cloves in dish.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes, basting occasionally with pan drippings.
  • Remove garlic from dish and peel.
  • Place garlic in a bowl, and mash into a paste.
  • Add buttermilk and next 6 ingredients; stir with a wire whisk until well blended.
  • Cut each breast diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
  • Then pour herbsauce over chicken slices.

    Wow - that sounds so good. It's always nice to find another way to fix chicken...we eat it probably 4 times a week, so I can't wait to try this sauce!! Thanks for a unique post!

    I agree with linebb. I also marked it as unique and can't wait to try this. I never get tired of chicken and this one sounds fabulous. Thanks for posting.

    Now this is diffrent.. in fact I flagged it as such.. Sounds interesting and tasty so I will give it a try.. When it's cool enough to turn the oven on.. I bookmarked it..
