How to make it

  • Cube 2 slices bread and place in bottom of greased casserole.
  • Mix meat, celery, onion and mayonnaise.
  • Spread over bread cubes.
  • Put remaining 3 slices cubed bread on top.
  • Beat eggs, add milk and salt.
  • Pour over bread.
  • Add can mushroom soup, undiluted.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake at 325 for 1 1/2 houts.
  • Add grated cheese and bake 15 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
  • Serves 8 or 9.
