Chinese Black Beef

- One 2 to 3 pound chuck roast shopping list
- 2/3 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1 cup good wine ----Red, White no matter it's wine shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 4 to 6 cloves garlic shopping list
- 2 inches ginger cut up then slightly smushed shopping list
- 1 white onion cut in slices shopping list
- baby carrots if you like them shopping list
How to make it
- Braise the roast on both sides just until browned
- Place in crock pot cover with water then add the rest of ingredents Then let her rip. I always cook for 6 hours
- Serve over rice
- Left overs are wonderful as is but I have also used them for fried rice for a change.

I make this quite a bit, but with pre cut stir fry meat- yes, the lazy way.
I was thinking that maybe you could get the name of the book and then either buy it yourself or check it out at the library.
