A nice side dish for your steak or chicken, or eat it as an appetizer. You can also make it into a veggie burger, since it has a rich mushroomy, almost meat-like flavor. Goes well with almost any sauce or gravy.

What a delicious looking veggie dish - yes, as a veggie burger, too, would be so good. We absolutely love mushrooms (and who can resist a cheese sauce), so this one is printed out and ready to go - you are great!

When I ran into the title it sounded so crazy to me that I had to check it out. (Well, it's me ... being a straight meat & tatoes guy.)
Anyway, it sounds like a grand side for a steak, as you said. Thanks.
