Ingredients

2 stalks celery, coarsely chopped

½ white onion, coarsely chopped

½ green bell pepper, coarsely chopped

½ yellow bell pepper, coarsely chopped

1 tsp dried Basil

1 32-ounce can diced tomatoes

10 to 12 whole ripe tomatoes

1 tsp salt

Pepper to taste

3 tsp lemon juice

Directions

In large saucepan, combine:

All the chopped veggies

The can of tomatoes

The whole tomatoes

The Basil

The salt

The pepper

The lemon juice

Simmer one hour or until the whole tomatoes start to fall apart easily.

Serve over spaghetti, or any other pasta you desire, sprinkled with grated old cheddar cheese on top.
