Ingredients

How to make it

  • Slice the cheese into 1/2 inch disks and place them in a wide-mouthed glass jar.
  • Combine the rest of the ingredients *up to the greens* and pour over the cheese to cover it completely.
  • Allow to sit for 3 days. (I keep it refrigerated)
  • Serve herbed cheese at room temperature on top of a bitter green salad, drizzled with a bit of the best balsalmic vinegar and slices of toasted french bread on the side.

Have used this as a gift in food baskets. Trick is finding the right sized jar that is food safe.

I like the method of this recipe how clever the use of the wide mouth jar is perfect. I will try this out tonight and see how it is in three days.
