Ingredients
  • 2 Green Onions, thinly sliced and divided.
  • 8 oz Philidelphia Cream Cheese
  • 6 oz Lump Crab Meat
  • 1/2 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded Red Sweet Peppers
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard

Directions
  1. Let the cream cheese soften to room temperature.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a medium mixiing bowl
  3. Refrigerate for 1 hour
  4. Serve with crackers or bread of choice

Got this from a magazine. Took out a few ingredients I don't like. Added a few I do like. But it is pretty close to the original so I won't take credit for it. Enjoy if you like shellfish. Replace them if you don't. But it is a great appetizer.

Ok, 5000 views and little comment. Means folks have not tried it. Since we first made this and took it to a gathering it has become a constant request. "Please make the Crab Spread". That is good because it is EASY!


Aha...I have the sweet peppers in the frig now. Will be on the table for New Year's. Sis requests this again after last year's trial version. I use whole grain dijon and it suits it well.
