Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a medium bowl, combine the garlic, wine, broth, oil, salt & red pepper flakes.
  • Add the shrimp & toss to coat. Set aside to marinate for about 5 minutes.
  • Lightly grease a non-stick skillet & warm over medium/high heat
  • Add the bell pepper & cook for 1 min to soften slightly
  • Add the shrimp & all but 1 Tblspn of the marinade.
  • Cook for 2 mins or until the shrimp turn pink on the bottom
  • Turn the shrimp over & cook for 1 - 2 mins longer or until the shrimp are opaque
  • In a cup, dissolve the cornstarch in the remaining 1 Tblspn of marinade
  • Push the shrimp to one side of the skillet & stir the cornstarch into the sauce in the center of the skillet
  • Cook for 1 min until the sauce is slightly thickened
  • Mix with shrimp & serve immediately
