Serve up this shrimp with the wonderful flavors of garlic, wine & red pepper flakes. Delicious over Angel hair pasta or spaghetti

Ingredients
  • 4 garlic cloves - minced
  • 3 Tblspn white wine
  • 2 Tblspn chicken broth
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb frozen, peeled medium/large shrimp - thawed
  • 1 red bell pepper - cut into thin strips
  • 1 tsp corn starch

Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the garlic, wine, broth, oil, salt & red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the shrimp & toss to coat. Set aside to marinate for about 5 minutes.
  3. Lightly grease a non-stick skillet & warm over medium/high heat
  4. Add the bell pepper & cook for 1 min to soften slightly
  5. Add the shrimp & all but 1 Tblspn of the marinade.
  6. Cook for 2 mins or until the shrimp turn pink on the bottom
  7. Turn the shrimp over & cook for 1 - 2 mins longer or until the shrimp are opaque
  8. In a cup, dissolve the cornstarch in the remaining 1 Tblspn of marinade
  9. Push the shrimp to one side of the skillet & stir the cornstarch into the sauce in the center of the skillet
  10. Cook for 1 min until the sauce is slightly thickened
  11. Mix with shrimp & serve immediately
