Ohh Just Take A Bite

ok here is yet another appetizer i have tweaked to my likening i hope you will enjoy it ........
Ingredients
- 5-6 -large jalapenos shopping list
- 3 eggs beaten shopping list
- 1/2- - cup cornmeal shopping list
- 1- boneless chicken breast , cooked and shredded shopping list
- 2-3 -small mushrooms grilled and chopped shopping list
- 1/3- cup salsa........... shopping list
- 1/2-cup shredded pepper jack cheese or cheddar cheese shopping list
- oil for frying ....... shopping list
- sour cream for serving shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Slice jalapenos lengthwise down the middle, remove the seeds and white membrane
- Dip the jalapenos in the beaten egg and then dip in cornmeal to coat …….
- Deep fry until golden brown ……drain on paper towel
- Shred chicken into a bowl, Add mushrooms salt and pepper .. And any other seasoning you want to spice it up….mix well
- Stuff the jalapenos with the chicken mixture
- Top with cheese and cook in oven or microwave just until cheese is melted…..
- Top with salsa .and serve with sour cream…
- Makes 5-6 servings ...........
- its quick and easy and very tasty....................
