Once again made one of your recipes! We loved this!! We didn't need extra salt but I did add an extra chicken cube. This was so easy, and I threw it together in like 10 minutes! Good one! 4/13/13

Made this before but there is no link. There is now.
Latch on to a shaker of salt to bring the flavor level up.

This was a HUGE hit. I did include the extra veggies. When it gets a little nippy outside it is the perfect coming home food.

The simplicity of this is exactly what my overburdened self needs today. That ham bone has been taking up way too much room in my fridge and needs to have a better life. I also have the turkey stock from the Thanksgiving turkey to use. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I will not be able to resist putting some carrots and a lonely poblano and jalapeno in with the soup. So It won't be just like yours but you are my inspiration.

You helped me make my husband a very happy man..I thought I had him convinced that I was not replaceable. I never put onion in mine and I always cooked mine down to a thicker broth. We enjoyed this much better!! Thanks~

I just put my beans on!! I have never put on onion in them while they were cooking, however, I always put onion, relish, hot pepper juice with my cornbread and beans.

Beans crocking away. I forgot to nonstick spray the bowl. Guess I'll have to rub some elbow grease on it afterward.

At 6 hours I find a bean every eventuality undercooked. Turning up the crock to HI for the last two hours.

Didn't have the hambone so subbed 3/4 lb smoked bacon coarse chunked.

Love those beans! Funny, but I've always just used water - never any broth! I'll have to try that next time. Thanks for the nice post.

One of my favorites, just because it's so easy and tasty... get it started before heading out the morning, and come home to a hearty meal. :) Absolutely awesome with some good cornbread. There should be a picture of this in the dictionary next to "stick-to-your-ribs"
