Yummy Banana Bars

- 1 stick butter (room temp.) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 2 ripe bananas (or 2 large jars banana baby food: TRUST ME they don't know the difference ;) shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- icing shopping list
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- 4 tbs. butter (room temp.) shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- milk (this never got measured, just pour until it's the consistency you like.) shopping list
How to make it
- Cream together butter and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add sour cream, bananas and vanilla. Mix. In bowl mix the dry ingredients. Slowly add to the other mixture, (don't over beat) Grease a 9x13 or 11x15 pan and add mix. Bake 350 for 30 to 45 minutes (depending on pan size) until toothpick comes out clean.
- Icing:
- Mix vanilla and butter. Slowly add sugar, then add milk last. Frost bars when they have completely cooled!!! Now let your taste buds sing!! ;)
