Blackened Salsa Tilapia

- 4 Tilapia filet's shopping list
- blackened seasoning shopping list
- 4 oz. butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh pico, or chunky home made salsa shopping list
- 4 oz. butter (yes, another) shopping list
- 1/2 tbs chopped garlic shopping list
- 1/4 cup sherry wine shopping list
- black pepper, to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Coat Tilapia filet's with blackened seasoning. Place in a hot skillet with butter. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until flaky.
- In a small sauce pot add butter, sherry, garlic, pepper, and pico or salsa.
- Heat until hot. use a slotted spoon and get pico/salsa chunks out and serve over fish. If desired pour some of the yummy sauce over the fish as well! Serve with rice and beans...Enjoy!

Blackening is one of my favorite ways to cook talapia and your sauce sounds wonderful.
Served with rice and beans makes for a complete balanced meal.
