Pound cake layered with banana pudding, homemade whipped cream and nilla wafers. This recipe can also be found on Allrecipes.com. It is my most recent published recipe!

Ingredients
- 1- 9x5 pound cake - cut in chunks
- 2 - 3.4oz packages of banana pudding
- 2- banana's chopped
- 6oz crushed nilla wafers
- 32oz heavy cream
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup of confectioners sugar
Directions
- Prepare pound cake per package directions - let cool, cut into chunks
- prepare banana pudding per package directions add 2 chopped banana's
- In a chilled bowl using chilled beaters and whisk mix together heavy cream, vanilla extract and confectioners sugar until fluffy
- using a trifle dish layer pound cake,pudding , whipped cream then crushed nilla wafers and repeat .
- put in refrigerator to chill.
- Enjoy!

OH...this sounds soooo good!! I KNOW it will be...saving to try Sunday. My Mom came up with something kind of similar, Peach Delight, posted, one day when she'd made the custard for banana pudding, and dad had eaten the last of the vanilla wafers and thrown her ripe bananas out! LOL I can't wait to try this one. Great post.
