How to make it

  • Preheat grill
  • Soak fish in cream for 30 minutes. Meanwhile place all the seasonings (only the seasonings under seasoning category) in a plastic bag and pound them with a mallet to crack them open. Remove fish from cream. Spread mayo on both sides of the fish. On the skin side season with salt and pepper. On the flesh side sprinkle with the dill weed and rub the crushed seasoning into the flesh. All the flesh should be covered with mayo and seasonings generously.
  • Grill fish first seasoned side down 5-7 minutes, then 5-7 minutes on other side. Fish is done when it flakes with a fork. Remove and squeeze desired amount of lemon juice on it....and enjoy!

So easy but so good. I LOVE salmon, and usually do a very simple prep, so this was right up my alley! :) Thank you for adding it, mommyluvs...and, I added my photo. No pretty grill marks cus I chose not to cook it directly on the grate this time! hehehe

This sounds different and so yummy! I love the picture here, love your seasonings, and in Russia we often smothered fish with mayo before baking it. It gave it a nice tart flavor. Can't wait to try this wonderful grilled recipe! I have to give you a beauty flag, too. That picture is making my mouth water!
