Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and move to warmed pasta bowl.
  • Toss with butter.
  • sauteed fresh salmon in a skillet with more butter or olive oil remove .........or if using smoked no need to heat unless you want too....
  • Add cream and basil -wine and 1-2- tablespoons butter to frying pan.
  • Bring heat to high and boil until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Turn heat to low.
  • Gently fold in sauteed salmon. or smoked salmon, parsley, pepper, and salt.
  • Pour sauce over pasta and toss gently;
  • toss onions and tomatoes on top.
  • serve with crusty French bread. and a bottle of your favorite wine

    I could really use this recipe---I have 2 leftover salmon filets in the freezer that we had grilled on an Oak plank. I was thinking the best way to use it would be to flake it and add to a pasta dish. This one sounds really nice. I don't have any basil but I do have fresh tarragon... Thanks Tink! :-)
