Gingered Honey Lemon Tea

- 1/2 gallon water shopping list
- 1/2 cup lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tsp. lemon extract shopping list
- 2 oz. fresh ginger root, pealed and thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 cinnamon stick shopping list
- 1 tsp. whole cloves shopping list
- 4 herbal tea bags shopping list
- 1/2 cup honey shopping list
How to make it
- In a large Dutch oven, combine water, lemon juice, lemon extract, gingerroot, cinnamon stick, and cloves.
- Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Add tea bags; let steep for 30 minutes.
- Remove tea bags.
- Strain;
- Add honey.
- Chill until cold;
- serve over ice cubes.
- Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
