What a great idea! I love it! I never thought to make lasagna on the stove top!

Home between appointments...next one at 11:30. I make a stove top casserole similar to this but instead of noodles, I use mini-size refrigerated ravioli (usually the kind stuffed with mushroom and cheese). You don't have to precook them, just layer, with sausage/cheese, sauce, cover and simmer. Good stuff and you are right, just what the Dr. ordered. Easy!!

Great recipe, Pat. And being the carnivores we are here, I'd have to add some ground beef. Thanks. ;')

I made this last night for dinner and it was so very good! I made a bigger one than stated in the recipe, so I used more tomatoes and more lasagna noodles (1-9oz. box), but everything else was as written. I used the wine instead of the water. This came out perfectly! I never thought to make lasagna on the stove top, but I think I'll do it this way from now on!!! Thanks for posting this really cool recipe! I added my photo!
