Well gee, I may not be terribly smart, but just ONE of those tragedies alone would have me in a state of total uselessness -- so, how would YOU survive -- and still type all your recipes!! and fight in all the groups!! -- after ALL those tragedies???

Help me out here....you guys are intelligent people...which of you could go through all that and still be on this site 24 / 7 ???? and out fishing, fly-fishing in a rampaging river, at that???? While you are making / delivering Meals On Wheels, and volunteering at a retirement home???

I think I would be voted in for immediate saint hood for being so stoic.

I wouldn’t be visiting with people on a social website, stirring up trouble and starting private groups because someone in another said something I didn’t like, who dared have a different opinion.
I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed, let alone be on a social network, visiting a causing trouble, while looking innocent, which I wouldn’t be.

What would YOU do after this long list of recent events?

We normally provide quite a bit of protection for our fish but that doesn't mean something won't come by and fish them out. Blue herons are a major threat for us and if I see one in the sky, I run for the fish. If you put decoys out, you have to keep moving them around or the birds get wise. My neighbors across the street had a great koi pond and it wasn't the birds, it was the stupid raccoons that kept snatching their fish. They gave up after two years and filled it in. Bill was losing about 80.00 a month in fish to those varmints. He had chicken wire just under water level and everything. He was fit to be tied. You could hear him each morning, cussing up a blue streak when he'd find the pond was raided again. Not good for his blood pressure.

We all know about the arby's sauce recipe and wasp's ugly comments on it (that sprang off into much more ugliness) . Anyway something was just nagging at me...so I came on today and searched other copycat recipes for fast food sauces, which there are a few. No nastiness on any of them that I could find...while looking at my recipe I see myst has been there, and gg, and wasp of course. I happen to glance over at her groups and wasp is a member of cremedelacreme..got me to thinkin..so I head to gg's page, also a member of creme. BUT they are not friends with the creator of the group, nor are they friends with each other. So I head to the creator of the group's page..someone from belize, has two friends on their page also from belize that are in the group but I couldn't find the 6th.......so I keep looking (I just love a good mystery, don't you?) I click on the pic and go to the recipe, then I head to Mimi's page and see beez in the comments...go to beez's page and guess what....6th member found. Thing is the group cremedelacreme was created 6-7 days AFTER beez 'passed'.

I just got off the phone with Mike, Cherilynn's husband. She is doing about the same....can't type ot talk or hold anything, so nothing has changed. He is fixing her computer so somehow she will be able to use it again.
I was a bit disturbed she had told me in a letter that she just wanted someone to read her the Bible because she couldn't hold it or turn the pages. I had contacted a church in her area and they said they would take care of it .....2 wks ago and nothing....so I will call again and try to maintain my cool. Maybe I can get a bible study group that is not affiliated with any religion...I will try again...the best news is she is OK as can be.

You do notice that Peeta never mentions any of the missing MAS or Pretty People. I think she has figured out who is here with her sleuthing. She pm'd about my current troubles, "she knew I had something on Monday" and she was dying to know what it was. I don't think she knows who Mimi is, however.

I had to laugh at one of JM's posts about her sleepless nights. Worrying about keeping her stories straight, eh?
