Reeses Peanut Butter Cookies

Recipe by Froggystyle: Reeses Peanut Butter Cookies/saved
A great little cookie. I would be even more pleased if I were to dip them in chocolate. Kind of a peanut butter cup cookie.
I'm not supposed to have these because of the sugar but I guess I can sample a couple. Cooks prerogative. The rest go to feed mothers sweet tooth.

I'm not the biggest PB fan here, I do eat it in certain things like Chinese peanut noodles and stuff and a couple desserts.
Okay yall are nuts, Mr P, really OJ in icecream...that's a new one for me...love me some OJ though :)

This is indeed a yummy looking cookie recipe. I bookmarked it based on your review Points. And it'd be super easy to dip at least one side in melted chocolate that's for sure. I don't know that I've seen Reese's Peanut Butter chips in the store but I've never looked for them before so they very well may be there.
Orange Julius's rock MrP. I haven't had one in year. Never heard of a 50/50 bar.

I've had orange sherbert before, is that close?
I've never had the PB rice squares your talking about, but it sounds like I wouldn't like them. I can tolerate PB as long as there is chocolate with it....

I think peanut butter chips are peanut butter chips. Only had Reese's at the store so I didn't have the opportunity to compare ingredients.
I was thinking, dip one side then chill in freezer for a couple of minutes on some wax or parchment paper then dip the other side.
I was hard pressed to make a midnight run to the kitchen and raid the cookies but I persevered.
And orange ice cream is great. It cleanses the palate. Not sherbert but ice cream.

Wow, from PB cookies to Orange Julius! Gotta love the IMI clan!!!
I found this Orange Julius..I would sub Simply Orange instead of using concentrate..I would also cut the amount of sugar for sure..you might not even need it if using Simply OJ:)
I remember someone telling me there was a raw egg (ewwwwww) in Orange Julius..this recipe has egg whites Almost Orange Julius

I used to walk to downtown (Chico) with friends on our lunch hour when I was in High School and we always stopped for an Orange Julius..ahhh, good times...too bad they are no longer there:(

Anyway, the cookies look so very good Points!

Duh, of course it's not like a sherbert, haha! Blonde moment there :) I do remember eating some kind of push pops that were orange flavored and really liking them! I've always been a chocolate girl...

They do have mini peanut-butter cups now. Not the peanut-butter chips, actual, chocolate covered cups. I've seen them in bags but I got some bulk at Sprouts store the other day.
Maybe there are no Orange Julius stores left because they used raw eggs? Just sayin'.

Yes, Chuckie, and NP they were awesome. I loved those Orange Julius' Been years since Iv had them also. I make my own using french vanilla ice cream instead of mike, water and ice. Just OJ and ice cream. SOOO good.

As for the 50/50 bar heres an image http://www.cocktailsandbooks.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/creamsicle.jpg Best way to describe it is orange sherbert outside and vanilla ice cream inside

All I buy is Simply Orange. To me, its the best OJ I dont drink as much as Keni . Except in the summer. A jug will last about 3-4 days. Not just 2 (What an oinker)

These were AWESOME! Bookmarked them when Points did this review. Indeed it would be totally over the top to dip these bad boys in chocolate, but they are totally complete just as there are as well. I thought the 300F baking temperature was a little odd. I did my first batch that way but it took about 26 min. to cook through properly. Second batch I cranked the temp up to 350F and then the 18 min. was about right although the edges were turning a teeny bit browner than they probably should have. My oven temps are wonky though I know it. For anyone who likes Peanut Butter Cookies, this is a 'Must Make'.
I will post a picture later but have been having trouble the last few days. Bad internet connection.
