Ingredients

How to make it

  • Slice eggs; spoon out yolks.
  • Mash yolks with butter, pepper, salt, worcestershire sauce and ham.
  • Stuff whites with ham mixture.
  • Place in oblong baking dish,
  • Prepare the sauce with milk, vlour and the remaining butter.
  • Add grated swiss cheese.
  • Pour over eggs and bake at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly.

    this reads really good! I just don't think I can get country ham locally...It's on the salty side, right? I think I had it in Virginia a few years back.

    With the several recipes I have seen recently using country ham, I am going to HAVE TO order one for us - I haven't had any since we left Missouri in 1980....mmmmm, such good stuff, and this recipe with the eggs sounds absolutely perfect with the ham!! Great idea!

    Zena: better tell them what country ham is. It ain't the paper thin stuff in the six ounce packs at the deli. It's the good stuff.
