This has become a Christmas tradition in our family, but is delicious and so easy to make, it's good anytime! Wonderful with coffee, tea, cocoa, all by itself!! Very moist, almost like a cake instead of a bread.

This looks like a really wonderful gift bread in place of fruitcake. Nicely done!

Karen, this looks good I will make this soon, but do I put the coconut in with the flour and soda and how much soda? as you seem to have omitted it in your ingredients.

Mmmmmmmmm... this recipe looks amazing! I can't inlcude the coconut due to allergies but I wonder if it would actually make much of a difference? I'll try it without the coconut and hopefully the results will be just as good ;-) Thank you for sharing.
