Balsamic Green Beans

- 1 lb. green beans, washed and trimmed shopping list
- 1 T. olive oil shopping list
- 2 shallots chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar shopping list
- S&P shopping list
How to make it
- Start by bringing a pot of water to a boil. Boil the beans for about 4 minutes then remove them to a bowl of ice water, then transfer to a dish towel to dry off.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Add the shallots and cook for 1-2 minutes then add the garlic and saute until tender. Pour in the vinegar and let simmer about 30 seconds then add in the green beans. Let cook a couple of minutes until the beans are still slightly crisp but cooked. Add your preferred amount of salt and pepper.
