How to make it

  • Fold all ingredients other than wonton wrappers and oil together in medium glass bowl.
  • Drop about 1T of filling into the center of each wonton wrapper. See Photo
  • Fold over to create a semi circle(if using round) and "crimp" edges with a fork. See Photo
  • If wontons start to dry out as you are preparing them, just lightly brush water over the surface of the wrapper. This will make it more flexible and easier to work with.
  • Fry in 360-370 oil for about 2 minutes, each side until lightly browned, but before the filling starts oozing out. :)
  • For Pomegranate Chili Dipping Sauce

  • Combine all ingredients and let sit while preparing the wontons!

    OooOOOooOOOooh. I'm gonna try these, but add raspberry instead of pomegranate. (I'm allergic) Or maybe I'll just eat those little bastards plain!! Mwahahahaha!!!

    Yum! Can't wait to make these!! I can never find the round wonton wrappers, only the square. Maybe I can use a circle cookie cutter to make them round...I guess I'll have to give it a try!
