Sesame Sirloin

- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon canola oil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 3/4 pound (3/4 inch thick) boneless beef sirloin steak shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, canola oil, brown sugar, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Place steak and marinade in a ziploc bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
- Drain and discard marinade. Grill or pan-fry the steak, covered, over medium heat for about 8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145 degrees F; medium, 160 degrees F; well-done, 170 degrees F).
