Ingredients

How to make it

  • Dissolve the gelatin into the water you boiled.
  • After it's completely dissolved, stir in the cold water.
  • Pour into the clear vase and place in the fridge.
  • Keep checking to see if the jell-0 is setting up. This can take a while. (I just kept checking by placing a flower down into the vase with a wooden skewer. If the flower didn't float back up, then it's setting up)
  • When you're able to put all the flowers down in the jell-o where you want them, without them floating back up to the top, then you're done.
  • I think the magazine used real flowers, but I thought that using artificial flowers, they wouldn't tear or rip like real ones would. And I used orange Jell-o with white daiseys. The next time I think I'll try using "Yellow" Jell-O with some kind of Orange flower. The possibilities are endless. Let me know what you've done, and by all means if you find a better way to do this, please share it with me. My first time was really trial & error, so I'd appreciate all & any suggestions.

How pretty. I really like this. You could do all kinds of stuff with this idea. How about for a baby shower adding little trinkets of plastic diaper pens or rattles along with the flowers. You could carry your them to almost any party. I am printing this one. A big 5 for me. Thanks for posting this.
