Ingredients
  • 1 large clear vase (I used one that was 10-3/4 inches high, that I bought from a local craft store)
  • 6 boxes (6oz each) any flavor/color of Jell-O Gelatin
  • 6 Cups boiling water
  • 4 Cups cold water
  • Artificial flowers, any size & color that would go good with the color of jell-o being used. (cut flowers from the stems as close to the flower's base without the flower falling apart)
  • Wooden skewer (for pushing the flower down into the almost set Jell-0)

Directions
  1. Dissolve the gelatin into the water you boiled.
  2. After it's completely dissolved, stir in the cold water.
  3. Pour into the clear vase and place in the fridge.
  4. Keep checking to see if the jell-0 is setting up. This can take a while. (I just kept checking by placing a flower down into the vase with a wooden skewer. If the flower didn't float back up, then it's setting up)
  5. When you're able to put all the flowers down in the jell-o where you want them, without them floating back up to the top, then you're done.
  6. I think the magazine used real flowers, but I thought that using artificial flowers, they wouldn't tear or rip like real ones would. And I used orange Jell-o with white daiseys. The next time I think I'll try using "Yellow" Jell-O with some kind of Orange flower. The possibilities are endless. Let me know what you've done, and by all means if you find a better way to do this, please share it with me. My first time was really trial & error, so I'd appreciate all & any suggestions.
