How to make it

  • Mix first 3 ingredients with melted butter. Blend until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup of mixture for topping. Place remainder in 8" square pan and press firmly. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, beat cream cheese with sugar, egg, lemon juice, milk and vanilla. Pour into baked crust. Top with 1 cup of crumbs and bake 25 minutes (I baked for 30 minutes) Cool & refrigerate before cutting into 2" squares.

    I thought the crust was really good and this set up so nicely! I was worried at first because it just seemed so soft and jiggly almost when they came out but after that refrigeration they really do firm up great! Everybody loved them! Thank Marie!
