Ingredients

How to make it

  • Use a cookie sheet that is **lightly greased** so cookies do not stick.
  • Cook in a 300-350 F oven for 8-9 minutes
  • They are easy to overcook, as the batter is so dark it is hard to tell if the bottoms have become burnt.
  • Favorite Variants 4 Types:
  • 1. A simple cheesecake batter swirled in, use a normal cocoa rather than the black cocoa....Moose Splat.
  • 2.Place a small, fresh chiltepin pepper on the top of each cookie before baking...Dragon Splat.

    I can't wait to try these. I don't even know if there will be any left by the time my family comes home. Might have to double the batch to cover up my evil ways. =-}

    For *Splat* question...*lightly greased* for the variations on the *master recipe*...depending what the baker would want to add, plus with addin's, watch the cookies a couple of extra minutes so they won't burn.

    I've made stuff like this, but the colored marshmellows are a new idea. Question: I was always told that if there's butter in the recipe, the sheet doesn't need to be greased. Does this just need extra? Also, if there's cheesecake mix swirled in, won't it take longer to cook and risk burning the cookie? Just curious, I could be wrong.
