EVOO actually got added to the newest version of the dictionary! I saw Rachel Ray get her certificate of acknowledgment, so its' officially a word :)

Oh this is great. I've had the basil, tomato and mozzerella sandwich but I've never grilled it with EVOO.

When I was a little kid I started sprinkling my grilled cheese with Italian seasoning before popping it into the pan. I guess the oregano made me feel pizza-ish back then. Your recipe is reminiscent of that and has to be yummy - basil always is.

This sounds great. I love to mess with grilled cheese sandwiches. Sometimes I slip in a little spaghetti or pizza sauce and a few slices of pepperoni, or Italian seasoning and a little parmesan cheese. Yours sounds like so much more. And if evoo makes the bread crispy, I may have to convert from butter.

This is the way I make my grilled cheese in the summer when I have all fresh ingredients from my garden.
Perfection!
Five forks and a smile :)
