Fettucini with Light Alfredo Sauce

- 1 lb. Fettucini, Linguini or spaghetti shopping list
- 1 cup evaporated skim milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. white or black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 4 oz. green onions sliced (white part only) I like green part also shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain
- In a large saucepan, bring evaporated milk to a simmer over moderate heat.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese, green onions and parsley
- As soon as it has melted and sauce is thick and creamy, pour over cooked pasta
- Season with white pepper. I like garlic powder over mine
