This is one of my favorites. I do this all by taste. I did try to find a recipe. But there really is none.

What is ring bologna? I'm flummoxed. My mom just bought the sliced stuff with the red plastic wrapper, that I nearly tried to eat when fixing my own sandwich as a kid....I didn't know you had to pull the junk off and nearly choked to death on it. This sounds like something my husband would have eaten as a child. I'll have to ask. MIL never made it when she lived with us, but she did love her deli platters piled high with meat, pickles and cheese. I could fix that for her supper and she would be happy.

My grandmother puts this on her hamburgers. I think it's weird stuff, but I still get a craving for it occasionally.
