Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cut smoked sausage or hot dogs into bite size pieces.
  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring almost to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce becomes syrupy.
  • If sauce becomes too thick add more beer.
  • That's it! You'll probably need some cold beer while eating this!

I hit on this because where I grew up Red Hots are a local way of saying hot dogs. In Rochester N.Y. we have Red Hots or White Hots. But I get the difference here and your recipe is a must. Tagging it for our next UCONN tailgate party. Thanks Irish ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Sas
