Ingredients
  • 300 g polony, grated (cold pressed meat, almost like a roll of ham
  • Substitute polony with minced meat or any grated salty meat
  • 500 ml cake flour
  • 10 ml baking soda
  • 5 ml salt
  • 1 egg
  • 250 ml milk
  • 30 ml oil
  • oil for deepfrying

Directions
  1. Mix polony, flour, baking soda and salt.
  2. Beat the egg, milk and 30 ml oil together.
  3. Mix the two mixtures well.
  4. Let spoonful of mixture drop in the hot oil.
  5. Drain on brown paper.
  6. Sprinkle lemonpepper or aromat or garlic salt over.
  7. Serve

Hi Liezel! Have to ask you...what exactly is your first ingredient? Polony? I'm curious! =)


It is a kind of cold pressed meat, almost like a ham roll. I will post a photo of it.


Another name for Bologna sausage


Had to research this one, it is the equivelant of American Pork Roll, not the tangy Pork Roll. It is also referred to as Devon and a host of other names from the U.K. to all over. Going to try this. Love pork roll. Nice one! Cool name.
