Greek Garlic Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1.5 cup olive oil
  • 5 cloves of garlic - crushed
  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 T Oregano
  • 1 T Paprika
  • Black pepper (Coarsley ground) to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Directions
  1. In a large zip lock baggie, mix together the olive oil, crushed garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano and the juice from 1 lemon.
  2. Use a fork and pierce each breast a few times, in different places.
  3. Place chicken breasts in the baggie with the sauce, seal baggie and roll the chicken around a bit to mix. Put baggie in fridge.
  4. Allow two to three hours (or more) for the chickens to soak in the mix.
  5. Heat your grill and place the chicken breast on the grill. Cook till desired doneness. Serve immediately.

Alterations


I use this marinade for pork too. I like the country spare ribs (boneless) Marinade overnight or start in the morning. I then cook them on a grill.

Serve with garlic marinated tomatoes over angel hair pasta.
