This is on my to do list. There are way too many salmon in the world and they need to be culled. Besides, we are doing the world a favor in eating them, fish pee in the water and that's not healthy.

Great post, organicmama! You are the only other person I know of making them this way. This is how my Mom made them. Everyone else I know uses cornmeal... I think the crackers are so much better! Glad you posted, and reminded me to make some! : )

This is the way my Mom made them too! I add some punch to them when I make them. I put some onion chopped finely and a bit of garlic powder and a dash of lemon juice.

I've always loved salmon patties and this is pretty much the way my mom made them. She never served stewed tomatoes with them, tho. I tried it and it was so good! Oh and my kids liked these, too. We are having them again tonite!
