Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium to high heat.
  • Once heated, add butter, melt, and coat skillet.
  • Toss in onion and cook for roughly 3 minutes or until they start to become tender.
  • Start adding kale a little at a time. As it cooks down add more.
  • Once all of the kale has been added, add olive oil to coat or to your liking.
  • Cook for roughly 10-12 minutes or until kale has cooked down and looks wilted. Some browning is OK.
  • Finish by adding the balsamic and feta to the skillet and lightly tossing the kale while cooking for 5 more minutes.
  • Plate and serve. I served this with pasta and garlic bread.

This is a great recipe. Yummy for sure. I added diced mushrooms at the same time I did the onions in the fry pan. After adding the cheese added some tomatoes as well. Will be making again.

Sounds good --I'm growing the Tuscan Kale this year for the first time and after some hard frosts it is superb eating --a wonderful veg for winter .
