Scampi is about as simple as it gets - shrimp, olive oil, garlic, and parsley - but there are numerous authoritative ways to get that cooked. So this is my version.

This sounds very nice. Where I come from, "Shrimp Scampi" usually means that the dish is drowning in a heavy cream sauce. I'm looking forward to trying your fresher, lighter version.

Absolutely beautiful, Mystic! You are so right - it is simple, but one of the most flavorful ways to eat shrimp...love your recipe - will try it soon (we eat a lot of shrimp!).

I have some fresh shrimp that I am about to cook, and this is the recipe I'm going to use! Thanks for sharing, but forgive me if I add more garlic! WooHoo!

Oh you have out done yourself Joymarie. I know I say that often about your recipes! Complete with the brandy fortified sherry wine so delicious with succulent shrimp steeped in a garlic sauce. Now do you hear that knock at your door , it is me and I have some wine and bread!
High Five
