Great chicken dish a friend of mine made up.

Ingredients
- 6 chicken breast halves,skinned
- 1c dry white wine
- 1t dried oregano
- 1t dried basil
- 1/2t garlic powder
- 1/4t salt
- 1/8t pepper
- 2T butter,melted
- 1(14 oz.) jar sweet cherry peppers
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
Directions
- Place chicken breasts in lightly greased 9x13 pan.
- Combine wine,basil,oregano,garlic powder,salt and pepper in a small bowl,mix well. Pour over chicken and cover and chill in frig 8 hrs or overnight.
- Remove chicken from frig,let stand 30 mins.Remove chicken from marinade. Brush butter on chicken,pour peppers and liquid over the top. Cover and bake 30-40 mins.
- Add mushrooms. Bake uncovered additional 20 mins. or until done. Transfer to serving platter.

I just have a few questions. Do we bake the chicken in the marinade or just with the cherry peppers? And what do we do with the mushrooms?
