This is my own personal oil I use for my "scent". I think it is perfect.

Ingredients
  • 1 part patchouli essential oil, (not dark patchouli)
  • 1 part musk essential oil
  • 2 parts rose essential oil

Directions
  1. Mix well.
  2. This is very thick and strong so be careful to use just a couple of drops.
  3. I personally get a bottle of baby oil, the scent is orris root, and put about 20 drops of this mixture into it.
  4. Right after a shower without drying off, shake the bottle well, and apply the oil lightly all over the body, avoiding private areas, it may burn, personal experience!
  5. This leaves the scent just in a light, not so over powering way.
  6. You can use light mineral oil also. Heavy mineral oil is just to heavy.

Very nice! :)

Sounds wonderful. what kind of mineral oils do you recommend?

How wonderful!!!

What type of patchouli eo are you using, if not the dark?

As an organic skincare formulator, I would suggest not using any mineral oils, as they are petroleum based (even baby oil). You can use other light oils such as sweet almond oil.

Alterations

I like to use grapeseed or almond oil as my carrier oil.
