Country Style Steak And Gravey Recipe

Ingredients

1# round steak cut in quarters

1 onion sliced

4 Tbs.oil or shortening

2 Tbs. flour

salt and pepper to taste

3 cups water

Directions

salt and pepper steaks to your liking

roll in flour to coat

heat oil in skillet , over medium high heat and sear steaks well

remove steaks and place in a baking pan

put onions over steaks

add 2 Tbs. flour to skillet with the left over oil,and cook till lightly browned,add water and stir

pour browned mixture over steaks and onions ,cover and bake at 325F. for about 1 hour,or until tender
