How to make it

  • Either steam or boil your squash until JUST tender... do not over cook
  • While that is doing...
  • Melt butter and stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • Drain squash if boiled put in warmed serving dish toss with fresh basil and butter...
  • Taste, adjust seasonings if needed.
  • Just simple and good..
  • Enjoy!
