Crab Cakes Wroasted Red Pepper Sauce

- crab cakes shopping list
- 1 lb lump crab meat picked through.(I have used just the canned crab meat and its fine also) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 tbls Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 Tbls worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbls Old Bay Seasoning shopping list
- 2 dashes of hot sauce (more if you like a kick) shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped chives shopping list
- red pepper sauce shopping list
- 2 roasted red bell peppers or jar roasted peppers shopping list
- 1 pint heavy cream shopping list
- 1/3 cup olive oil shopping list
- 3 cloves of crushed garlic shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Crabcakes
- mix all ingredients well. Portion out and shape cakes.
- In large pan heat some olive oil, sear crab cakes until crispy on both sides
- Red Pepper Sauce
- Puree the roasted peppers in blender until liquid
- Heat olive oil in pan
- sweat garlic. Add red pepper puree,and heat well
- Add heavy cream
- Reduce mixture until thickened.
