Grannys Pie Crimping Technique Recipe

How to make it

  • roll out the dough, making sure it is flat and even
  • cut out the bottom layer and carefully put in the pie plate and make sure it is firmly against the sides of the plate.
  • slowly pour in the filling, making sure it's not too full
  • cut out the top layer and carefully put it over the filling
  • then she would take out her teeth and just run them around the edge of the pie crust and they make the nicest even impressions you ever did see! LOL

    Brilliant! I am sure the health and safety authorities would endorse this technique. I suppose that if het teeth havent' caused her any trouble whilst in her mouth sure they would cause any trouble to anyone else. Ah! Ah!

    Don't forget to put some Fix-o-dent between the pie crusts. They will stay put and won't bust open while baking.
