Chicken Fried Pork Chops Crock Pot Recipe
From sfrewerd 16 years agoIngredients
- 1/2 c flour shopping list
- 2 tsp salt shopping list
- prepared mustard shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 6 pork chops shopping list
- 2 tbsps olive oil shopping list
- 1 can cream of chicken or cream of celery soup shopping list
- 1/3 c water shopping list
How to make it
- Mix up the flour, salt and garlic powder. Smear mustard on each side of the chops, just enough to cover lightly and then dredge in the dry ingredients. Heat a skillet and add the olive oil. Brown the chops on both sides. This step add the bits of goodness that you'll want in your gravy when it's all done. Put the chops in the crock pot. Mix the soup and water and pour over chops. Cover the crock pot and cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice or noodles. Add the crock pot juice as gravy. Thicken with some flour if needed, but usually it's not required for a nice gravy consistency.
